Au Bord d’Eau Fukuoka

Fukuoka is a sister city of Bordeaux, famous for it’s wine.
Celeblating 30 years of the relationship, this wine bar was opened in Fukuoka. It is the third bar certified by the board of interprofessional of Bordeaux wine (C.I.V.B) after ones in New York and Shanghai.
Feel free to enjoy wine with a nice view of Nakagawa river.

You can purchase wines stocked in the wine cellar in the basement of the bar. We were impressed by finding Bordeaux-Clairet there. Slightly lighter than red wine, refreshing your mouth when you drink it, it’s close to rosé wine. It is similar to the old wines produced in the middle ages in Bordeaux. Recently there are not many châteaux making it, so we thought that we could hardly find it in Japan ~ so we bought it immediately.

Besides, because the red wine from AOC Blaye that we had it in the bar was delicious, purchased it to home as well. It is also nice to buy favorite wines like this in the shop less expensive than market price.
